  • Just discovered I have had £10 taken off my account the last three months and I knew nothing about this. Have phoned up and cancelled but be warned I was told I signed up when I bought train tickets from trainline. If I did fill in details no way would I give out my account details so how did they get them? No chance of getting your money back and I am a pensioner.

I also wrote an email to mary@completesavings.co.uk and till now I got no response!

I want to be take out of your client database! I don ́t want offer and even less pay £10 subscription for it...

  • I’m ANGRY
I have also been charged twice and did not agree to this. It is a disgrace how you can mislead people into signing up for a service and deduct the money then just offer to cancel. This is misleading information and can be looked at as a scam to charge people when you have sneakily signed them up to a service and then just hope they are happy to cancel and not pursue you for the money. I demand a full refund of the £20 I have been charged and if you are not going to do this I am prepared to take this further. My email is k_gleave@hotmail.com

This has also happened to me, what on earth is going on, I have never agreed to sign up to such a service yet I notice I have been charged £10 for the last three months. I am unsure as to how you are taking the money as no direct debit is showing with my bank therefore I am unable to cancel it. These payments need to stop immediatley as they have never been authorised and I too demand a full explanation and refund ASAP. This will be taken further

  • I have only ever used the credit card in Question once! This was to Ticketmaster
For others reading this contact your bank and put a hold on card and order a new one and give details of the transaction. I have sent this email to both Mary and your main email address. Credit my money back immediately and take me off whatever list I have been illegally placed on. If you are a genuine company you are doing yourself no favours with these actions. I will be contacting trading standards shortly if no satisfactory conclusion is reached. I suggest to others having problems on these threads that you do the same.

    EMAIL SENT-

    Dear Sirs,

My name is ******************** You have taken a £10 debit from my credit card without my knowledge or authorisation. I have never heard of your company before and I did not use my credit card on the day in question. I would be grateful if you could tell me how this has happened ?. I would also like to make it clear that I have no idea what products or services your company sells. Please can you enlighten me? More to the point if I have been signed up to some services this is without my authorisation or knowledge and I want you to put a stop to it immediately. Due to security I am not prepared to give you any further information at this point with the exception of the below transaction details.

    19 Mar 12 COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK PORTSMOUTH 826

    ******************* 21 Mar 12 10.00

I am disputing this amount with my bank and I am fully prepared to take full legal action for the time wasting and inconvenience of cancelling all my bank cards. I expect to receive your reply within 48 hours of receipt.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Anna ***************************************

  • Hi this is quite shocking tome. I dont remeber applying for this savings..and now £10 has been taken from my account without my knowledge or any notice to that e ffect as is stated in your terms of conditions. I only checked that just now when I was going through the site to find out how my money or details were taken. Now you promised a savings , cash back, but I have never used your services nor one any shopping online via your company. This is outright theft and I demand full refund of my money. I am a student and do not have that sort of cash to be throwing away. Pls rectify this as I did not give you my card details...

    Hi
Once again I am mailing to request that this membership with "CompleteSavings" has been cancelled.
I do not recall subscribing or signing up for sure a program with Complete Savings or agreeing to £10 per month being taken from my account to this savings website.
I have never made any transactions on this site or been sent anything of value directly or indirectly connected with this company.
I would like to receive a personal explanation, from someone senior within this company, as to why this has happened and would like to have my membership stopped with the return of 5 x £10 coming back into my back account.
I have also contacted my bank stating my displeasure at the way you conduct business and their willingness to art with my money.
This is the third time I have requested a cancellation and refund confirmation.
My next step will be the office of fair trading .

  • Absolute disgrace.

£20 has been taken out of my account for no reason. Never signed up to anything. the girl on the phone told me as I was cancelling that I would have been getting regular emails from the company and on checking my inboxes (including junk) I have had nothing.

    Absolute joke of a company.

Will be contacting Play.com straight away!

  • I’m Outraged
I have had money taken from my account in the total of £51.25, I have never even heard of this and if this is not dealt with I will be in contact with my bank and police to have never signed up for this, this is blatant fraud and if I don't get my money back I will sue the company for every penny I can get this is outrageous.

    • I have just learnt that your company is currently taking money from my bank account. I have never signed up to authorise you to do this.

You have now taken the sum of £63.75 from my bank. The first robbery took place on 3 February 2012 then every month to date. You take £10 each month but on three occasions you have taken £11.25. I demand that you put this money back into my account. I shall be seeking advice for compensation of monies you have stolen.

  • I’m angry
I too have had a total of £50 taken from my account without my authourisation. Apparently it was when I bought something on Ticketmaster I agreed to join their scheme or rather scam. I have no recollection of doing this and would not have done so knowingly. I have phoned and cancelled the membership and e-mailed them asking for a refund. I have also contacted my credit card company who will take the matter further if Complete Save do not refund the money.
It's quite frightening that this can happen to so many people and the company needs to be stopped or make it quite clear to people that they are joining their scheme. Obviously they are not doing so at the moment otherwise there would not be so many people writing on here complaining.

Please get back to me ASAP.

I have emailed mary@completesavings.co.uk. Kindly reply my email and refund my money.

Arrrrgh I also had £11.25 taking off my account without me recalling having gave any permission to that. You really need to sort out your terms cause I've not been reading good things about this site.

I would also want my £11.25 credited back.

    Many thanks.

I want you to send all of my membership details to my email, I want to know when I was signed up and what details you hold, BECAUSE I NEVER SIGNED UP! And of course I want £30 to be refunded back. How do you do that anyway? It's not a direct debit. Your company has no reason, website is horrible to look at and I didn't find where could I cancel my membership. If my money won't be refunded to me I will take this further!

  • I’m upset
I just cancelled my membership, for the exact reasons people above have stated - in the signing up process there is no explanation that there is a membership fee, all we can see is the £10 cash back and all the benefits of signing up.
I just realised this because I received a Benefits and billing reminder notice in my email and I actually read further down in the email that you were going to charge me £10/month for this service. I was appalled. I never subscribe to anything that charge me but doesn't give me something concrete back (like, say, a magazine subscription)
I cancelled my membership immediately, I also checked my bank statement, and so far you haven't charged me anything, so I'm fine with that.

However, you should really really read through how you display your membership fee.

    I WANT TO CANCEL.
I have never used this so called membership and I'm only losing money that I can send home to my mother to help her with her bills.
    It's ridiculous.
    I'm paying for what?
I want my money back and my membership canceled.

Just Canceled my membership...I lost money for nothing...I didn't even know that that money was being taken from my account and for what...

    • I checked my bank account last night and found that £10 had been paid to Complete Savings.com. I tried to contact them by phone and got a recorded message. In order for them to identify me I was asked to give my membership number (which I didn't know) or my credit card number which I was unwilling to give to persons unknown.I sent them an e-mail to which I have not yet had a reply.
Today I managed to contact them by phone and was told that my membership application had come from the LaRedoute mail order website. When I placed an order recently i was asked if I would like details of how to get discounts. There was no online application form and I have not signed anything.
I only received an e-mail from complete savings after the £10 had been deducted from my bank account.
The Complete Savings rep said that my money will be refunded within the next 10 days - watch this space.
I am not against companies who can offer me discounts but this should be done in a way which leaves us in no doubt as to how it operates.
As for LaRedoute, I intend to close the account for good as I do want to deal with a company who is willing to pass on my personal details to third parties without my express permission.

I have contacted BBC Watchdog and urge everybody to do likewise.
£10 is not a geat ammount until you multiply it by the number of victims, some having been scammed for several months. This could be a multi million pound fraud.

What a shocking disgrace that these online shopping companies are participating in what can only be described as sheer theft. I learnt that Argos were the one's who willingly passed on my bank details to this scam. I shall be checking my account every day from now on, you just can't trust anyone anymore. It's a sad state of affairs.

  • I’m frustrated
I recently purchased two items from Argos and was offered £15 discount voucher on my next purchase -I did not sign up to any discount company but on checking my bank account on line today found that £10 had been taken out of my account via the debit card I used to purchase the Argos items- there was a company address and tele. number on my bank statement - yes- Complete Savings.co.uk who I had never heard of - I rang them and demanded to know why they had taken the money without my consent and what reason- I was told I had signed and the payments would be every month - I was livid - told them to cancel such payments and reimburse my £10 forthwith - the operator Pauline stated without any arguement that this would be done, and the money returned to me in 10 days - I have received two emails confirming the membership cancellation and refund - this is nothing but a scam - how dare Argos be part of this - they have lost a good customer.
